Dr Ruhie Vaidya
Ruhie is a new GP who is very excited to join the experienced and friendly team and Pennant Hills Medical Centre. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with Honours (Class 1) in 2012, and subsequently completed 2 years of postgraduate training in general medicine and surgery at St Vincent's Hospital in Darlinghurst. She undertook her GP training in various parts of Sydney including Waterloo, Kogarah, Caringbah and Wetherill Park. This wide exposure provided her with invaluable experience working with different patient populations, clinical presentations and local health districts.
Ruhie is passionate about General Practice and strives to provide high quality primary healthcare to her patients. She strongly believes in getting to know people as a whole (not just a disease!), building rapport and maintaining continuity of care. She has a particular interest in Paediatrics (having attained a Diploma in Child Health) and Women's Health (having undertaken the Family Planning NSW course).
In her spare time Ruhie enjoys reading, sport (playing and watching!) and spending time with her family and friends.
We are very excited to have our new female Dr Ruhie Vaidya join the Pennant Hills Medical Centre team.
Ruhie will be available for consultations Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.
